Registration Information for the 2018 - 2019 School year

All registration for the 2018 - 2019 school year will take place online.

New Students and Families

New families to the district may start the process by clicking the Start Registration button.

By completing the form you are beginning the registration process.
However, you will still need to attend New Family Registration in July to complete your registration.

New families MUST finalize their register in person.

Registration will be conducted at:

on the following dates:

Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 from Noon - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 26th, 2018 from Noon - 8:00 p.m.

If school has already started please contact the school directly to register your student.

    Rockton Grade School: Grades K - 2

    Whitman Post Elementary School: Grades 3 - 5

    Stephen Mack Middle School: Grades 6 - 8

Proof of Residency

The Rockton School District is requiring families to prove residency with mortgage paperwork, lease, and/or utility bills. Students cannot live with district residents unless the resident has legal (court papers required) guardianship of the student. Falsifying residency is a criminal offense (Class C misdemeanor) for both the resident who is falsifying the residency and the family enrolling.

When a child loses permanent housing due to economic hardship and becomes homeless as defined by law, or when a homeless child changes his or her temporary living arrangements, the parents or guardians of the homeless child shall have the option of either:

(1) continuing the child’s education in the school of origin for as long as the child remains homeless or until the end of the academic year (if the child becomes permanently housed during that year); or

(2) enrolling the child in any school that non-homeless students who live in the same attendance area are eligible to attend.
