All registration for the 2017-2018 school year will take place online.

Completed online registration along with residency forms and payments will be due by
Friday, June 1st, 2017.

New Students and Families

Registration will be conducted at:

Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 from Noon - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 20th, 2017 from Noon - 8:00 p.m.

    Rockton Grade School: Grades K - 2

    Whitman Post Elementary School: Grades 3 - 5

    Stephen Mack Middle School: Grades 6 - 8

Proof of Residency
The Rockton School District is requiring families to prove residency with mortgage paperwork, lease, and/or utility bills. Students cannot live with district residents unless the resident has legal (court papers required) guardianship of the student. Falsifying residency is a criminal offense (Class C misdemeanor) for both the resident who is falsifying the residency and the family enrolling.

The Rockton School District provides assistance and support for homeless families.
When a child loses permanent housing due to economic hardship and becomes homeless as defined by law, or when a homeless child changes his or her temporary living arrangements, the parents or guardians of the homeless child shall have the option of either:

(1) continuing the child’s education in the school of origin for as long as the child remains homeless or until the end of the academic year (if the child becomes permanently housed during that year); or

(2) enrolling the child in any school that non-homeless students who live in the same attendance area are eligible to attend.
